Our little waterbug!!

We have discovered that our little guy is going to be a pretty big fan of the water. He loves bathtime and playing (sucking on) his little ducky. He really loves it when I rinse the shampoo out of his hair....usually smiling and cooing. We also took him to the pool today for the first time. He did really well...kind of indifferent to the water, which is slightly cooler than the bath water he's used to. So we'd get in the water for a bit, then warm up on the side, and then get in again. All in all, it was a great first trip, and we look forward to spending many of our remaining summer days at the pool! :) Here are some photos below.

Father's Day and Photo Ops...

We have had pretty busy couple of weeks since the last post. Baby Isaac is growing so much and I can't wait to take him to his two month appointment (on July 1st) to see how much he weighs now. My prediction is about 14.5 lbs...Bill says 15 or 16 lbs. for sure. :) He is still a GREAT sleeper...soing for 5 or 6 hour stretches almost every night. Bill got to have his first Father's Day this past weekend. We spent the weekend in Dallas with Bill's family, which was a lot of fun. Isaac got to meet his uncles for the first time, and his great grandparents as well. Below are some of my favorite shots from the past couple of weeks.

Only 5 Weeks Old??

Today Isaac had a follow up appointment to check him out after all of this jaundice testing that he's had done. Bill and I knew he was getting pretty big, so we were excited to see how much he weighed in at today. Well, our "little boy" weighed in at a whopping 11 lbs. 11 ozs. (90th percentile for his age) and 22 inches long (75th percentile)!! What a big boy! The nurse who checked him out walked in the room and said, "Oh my gosh...he's HUGE!" The good news is that we are done with jaundice testing!!! YEA!! He's growing up way too fast!
